SAFE's Research Lead
Study on Education Needs – Research Lead
Vacancy type: 1 x part-time contractor
Project duration: four months (September 2022 – December 2022)
Report to: HKB directors
Supervise the conduct of a study and oversee the work of the researcher and the data analyst
Be responsible for the accuracy, objectiveness and quality of the study
Make decisions on research standards, scoping, research methodology and research protocol
Carry out analysis
Generate conclusions and recommendations
Write the final report and produce slides for presentation
Participate in regular progress meetings with HKB directors
After the completion of the study:
Present the findings to stakeholders
Support HKB in evaluating the outcomes of the study and reporting to the funder
Have experience in managing a research project involving quantitative methods - required
Have a track record of academic publications in the English language - required
Previously held a full-time position with research responsibilities at a university or research institution – preferred
Compensation: £ 4,500 (see section “Project milestones” on the first page for the payment timetable)
Working location: Work from Home
The final report of the study will be published in the name of HKB with attribution to the research lead, researcher, the data analyst and other contributors. HKB will be the owner of all the materials produced for the study. At HKB’s sole discretion, HKB may grant a licence to the research lead, the researcher, the data analyst individually to use the materials in other research projects.
